Managed Services Enhancement
CockroachDB Update to v21.1.6
The database service received a performance upgrade. The update brings "performance improvements and DB console and operational changes." Setup requires approximately three minutes to complete.
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
This security feature introduces three distinct user tiers:
- OWNER
- ADMIN
- USER
Access management moved to a dedicated account administration section with unified controls for teams and users.

- Team provisioning and membership maintenance
- User role management
- Cross-application permission visibility from individual user profiles
- Integrated into resource creation workflows (applications, environments, managed services)
Self-Service Portal Improvements
The design team created a comprehensive icon system enhancing visual navigation throughout the self-service portal, improving usability and interface clarity.
Integration Notes
The RBAC system automatically grants administrative rights to users who create new resources, allowing them to manage resource access and user entitlements independently.
