CodeNOW Release Notes 6.7

Overview

Version 6.7 of the CodeNOW self-servicing portal introduced several significant enhancements to cluster management and user administration capabilities.

Key Features

Enhanced Cluster Monitoring

The platform now offers improved visibility into cluster operations, addressing user feedback. The new dashboard screens provide insights into resource availability, component utilization metrics, and uncontrolled components. Users can quickly assess the operational status of their clusters from a high-level overview.

User Activity Tracking

A new activity logging system allows administrators to filter user actions by date and user, with a calendar-based interface displaying detailed activity records.

Streamlined User Management

The invitation process was redesigned to enable bulk invitations. Organizations can now "invite multiple people into multiple teams with respective privileges at once," significantly simplifying developer onboarding workflows.

Discovery Improvements

Full-text search functionality was introduced across Applications, Components, Packages, Configurations, Domains, Deployments, and Environments, enhancing navigation through complex portals.

Organization Features

  • Custom cluster labeling for easier multi-cluster management
  • Favorites system that prioritizes frequently-used resources at the top of lists

Framework Support

Added support for C# 10 and .NET 6, including new scaffolders and build pipelines for .NET 6 components.

UI Refinements

Simplified Docker and Helm2 stack configuration during application creation.
